There is nowhere to type anything

The boards on this site have no fields that reach us. A puzzle is generated in your browser,
played in your browser, and gone when you leave the page: nothing about your game is sent
anywhere, stored, or associated with you. Nothing is saved between visits, which is also why a
board does not resume where you left it.

The daily puzzles

A page offering the same puzzle to everyone on a given day does it by seeding the generator
from the date, not by fetching one. Your copy is built locally like every other.

What the server sees

Like any web server, ours records standard request information: the page requested, the time,
your IP address, your browser’s user agent and the referring page. These logs exist to keep the
site running and to detect abuse.

Cookies and third parties

See the cookie policy for what is set and why. Where third-party
services are used, those providers receive the request data described above under their own
policies, and their consent controls appear before any non-essential cookie is set.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or
deletion of personal data held about you. This site holds no accounts and stores nothing you
type, so in practice that means server logs. Ask through the contact
page.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information
from them.
